Strengthening Communities

The Charity Fund “Ridni“, together with its partners, works with Ukrainian communities to ensure that they have sufficient resources to help and strengthen every family in need.
We support local authorities, schools, social services experts, medical institutions, and cultural institutions. Together, we are implementing modern supportive approaches in work with children and families.
What We Do for Communities
Strengthening community capacity
We train local specialists, coordinate cross-sectoral collaboration, and help implement family-based care and support systems for families in crisis.
Promoting reform implementation
We help communities transition from the institutional care system to supportive, family-oriented models of child care.
Providing support and training
We organize workshops for educators, social workers, and community leaders on children’s rights, emotional wellbeing, crisis response, and support for vulnerable groups.
Working with data and assessment tools
We help communities better understand the needs of children and families, make decisions based on real data, and implement effective solutions.
Building trust and dialogue
We help communities create spaces for open discussion of sensitive topics, from orphanhood to mental health challenges, from violence to social exclusion.
Details on Our Areas of Work

Strengthening community capacity
The program is aimed at developing the capacity of communities to protect children, support families, and implement family-based care. Through training, guidance, and cross-sector collaboration, it helps communities become more effective, responsive, and capable of addressing social challenges independently.

Promoting and supporting the reform of institutional care
The program is designed to support the transition from the institutional care system to family-oriented forms of childcare. It raises public awareness, trains professionals, and helps create conditions under which every child can grow up in a caring family environment, not in an institution.
💛 A true community is built by people who care.
